Responsible Innovation in Education Research and Industry
The societal and ethical aspects of technology and its development process have become more prominent in the last years - in education, research and industry. But how are future engineers sensitized for societal and ethical issues in the development of technology? How are these topics integrated in existing engineering education? How are societal and ethical aspects translated into innovation practices in industry? Which competences are desired by industry, with a focus on responsible and sustainable innovation, when hiring graduated engineers?
In this conference we want to bring together stakeholders from education, research and industry to exchange experiences with teaching and practicing societal and ethical aspects of technology development.
